In light of DIBP’s update that further changes to the MLTSSL (formerly SOL) and STSOL occupation lists that determine eligibility for the subclass 457, 186, 189, 190, 489 and other visas, concern is growing around a list of occupations that have been flagged for consideration for removal from the MLTSSL list by the Australian Department of Education and Training.

The list, available here, lists 52 occupations that are under consideration from removal from the MLTSSL which would make the occupations ineligible for the subclass 189 independent skilled visa, the family sponsored stream of the subclass 489 provisional skilled visa, and the Graduate Work stream of the subclass 485 visa.
